**IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY**
Please note that HARBEL Prevention and Recovery Center will enter Phase 2 of reopening on Monday, July 6, 2020 (Phase 1 allowed in-person intakes and individual sessions). Normal business hours will resume and intakes, individual sessions, IOP groups, and therapy groups will be conducted in-person with appropriate hygiene and social distancing measures in place. Education groups will continue to take place virtually only. Clients also have the option to participate in individual sessions virtually if they choose (audio AND video required).
ALL individuals entering the building will continue to be REQUIRED to wear a facial mask or covering while in the building. Client temperatures will be screened when entering the building as well (using a no-contact method). Any clients that have had COVID related symptoms or exposure will need medical clearance to enter the building. We also strongly recommend any client returning from national or international travel self-quarantine for 14 days prior to entering the building.

Please note - until we enter Phase 2 on 7/6/2020, clients are only permitted in the building for scheduled individual sessions, urinalysis, and payments. Clients may access the building for urinalysis and payments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between 10:00am and 2:00pm, and Wednesdays between 9:00am and 7:00pm only.
Those needing crisis assistance outside of our current operating hours should call 911 (for true emergencies), contact 211, their local crisis response team, or go to the nearest emergency room.
HARBEL Prevention and Recovery Center is an outpatient substance abuse prevention and treatment center serving adults and adolescents in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. Medicaid, Medicare, and some private insurances are accepted. HARBEL is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC). HARBEL is also certified by the Governor’s Family Council to provide abuser intervention and victim outreach services.
HARBEL Prevention and Recovery Center's mission is to provide effective, high quality services to assist individuals in reducing and eliminating harmful involvement with substance abuse. For those involved in our Abuser Intervention program, HARBEL’s mission further seeks to assist those individuals in reducing and eliminating harmful involvement in intimate partner violence.
